Overview

Pups and Paws is a product with two main section one which is a marketplace where pet lovers can discover and connect with people who have adorable pets for sale. Whether you're dreaming of a playful puppy, a cuddly kitten, or even a gold fish, this is the place to find them.

The other section is a fantastic store filled with everything your pet could ever want or need. From stylish collars to yummy food, fun toys, cozy crates, and all the essential goodies, it's a pet paradise. You can pick and choose from a variety of items to make your pet's life extra special.

Problems

The current pet-buying and pet product market lacks a centralized, user-friendly platform that seamlessly connects buyers with sellers while providing detailed information about the pet, provides a comprehensive pet store for pet products.

Challenges

Balancing a rich feature set with simplicity can be tricky. The platform needs to be user-friendly for both novice and experienced pet owners. Its two different categories in of product can make it a little difficult to put together.

Solution

We conduct extensive user testing to ensure intuitive navigation. Use clear language and visuals to guide users through the platform's features. Prioritize features based on user feedback and behaviour. We a landing page a with a switch to the kind of search bar to be shown and also added a small pop up to ask what uses are interested in in other to provide adequate search bar.

Problems

Cable Companies bundle a lot of content into one making it very expensive. To put this into perspective a bundle that offers mainly the Premier League and La Liga charges over 35% of the minimum wage in Nigeria which is Africa largest economy. leaving the students and young adult with no other option than to use pirated option.

Challenges

Two major challenges was how do we come up with a subscriptions based product for multiples league and Ensuring a consistent and seamless user experience across mobile, laptop, and smart TV platforms can be challenging. Each platform has its own design guidelines and limitations.

Solution

Offer a subscription based plan for which ever league they would like to watch, starting with the most popular which is the premier league and la liga offering other leagues a chance to come on join us and get maximum profit from each subscriber and also came up with a cross platform design in the next MVP

During the design phase, we transform ideas into concrete plans by creating low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity designs. This is where the "what" of the project, gathered from research, becomes the "how" through visually conceptualizing solutions.

During the prototype phase of a project, the focus shifts from planning and ideation to turning your ideas into something tangible and testable. It's essentially building a rough draft of your final product or solution to collect feedback and refine your design before investing significant resources in full development.

TESTING & ITRATION
This phase is crucial for ensuring the final product is user-friendly, effective, and meets the needs of your target audience. It allows us to identify and fix problems early, preventing costly mistakes later in the process. By embracing feedback and adapting the design iteratively, we're much more likely to create a successful project.

Implementation
The implementation phase is a crucial stage of a project as it brings all the planning and preparation to fruition. It should be noted that this phase is not a linear process. In fact, it's often iterative, where we revisit previous steps as necessary to ensure that the project stays on track and delivers the expected outcome.
Brand

Started by selecting a logo that looks like a paw and using a vivid shade of red also known as scarlet red. It a color that evokes energy and passion.

I then went for Nexa typeface which is a versatile sans-serif font family with a clean and modern look. That goes with the style i have in mind.

Wireframe

After selecting a logo and colors to use in this project i had an idea of what i wanted the landing page to look like, I wanted a morden and mutiple image hero which focus user on searching.

Then i also wanted the two main category to have their section that helps user navigate straight into what they want with out thinking.

Visual Design

Throughout the design of this website our focus was a modern design with enough information on their possible purchase to our users in other to limit complaint from buys and sellers. We also went for an interface that would be easy to understand on first trial with limited amount of thinking, In turn enhancing the user experience of the users.

Responsiveness

This website is built to be resposive from desktop to tablet and mobile, can be viewed from any screem

Store Checkout

The checkout process are a series of screens that comes depending on what you selected from add to cart to buy now and then viewing the cart and completing the payment process

Profile

I then designed a beautiful profile/Account pages shows setting, order history and more in a whole new and unique way to have cards saved and address saved eliminating inputting every time.
